Abstract

The valeological, hygienic and medical aspects of using household filters for water purification among students in the city of Grodno were studied (254 students and 458 college students). The most frequently used household filters and the peculiarities of their application were revealed by the method of questioning. The regularities of the influence of the frequency of changing the cartridges on the skin and horny formations have been established. In order to prevent valeological, hygienic and medical risks when using household filters for water purification among students, a step model has been developed and introduced into practice using information and educational technologies in the form of an original computer test followed by a program of preventive recommendations.
