Психологічні закономірності обдарованості академічно здібних учнів основної школи

Інтелект відіграє ключову роль в академічних здібностях школярів, позитивно позначаючись на їх академічній успішності. Роль невербальної креативності як складової обдарованості в академічних здібностях школярів є менш однозначною, особливо на пізніх етапах навчання в основній школі. Втім, високий рівень невербальної креативності, зокрема за показниками оригінальності, може бути визначена як суттєва ознака академічно здібних школярів. Показано позитивну роль мотивації навчання в академічній успішності школярів, причому для академічно здібних школярів значущою є не тільки внутрішня мотивація як пізнавальний інтерес, а й зовнішня мотивація як екстернальна вмотивованість на навчальні досягнення через прагнення відповідати вимогам батьків та соціального середовища.
