Strategy for the development of the State Institution "Institute of Child and Adolescent Health Care of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" for 2018-2022.

Abstract

The State Institution "Institute for the Protection of the Health Care of Children and Adolescents of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" is a multidisciplinary research, treatment and diagnostic, organizational and methodological institution, the activity of which, over almost 100 years of existence, met the urgent needs of modern medicine and was aimed at solving urgent problems in the field of health care for the country's child population. In the last decades after the reorganization in 1964, the main task of the Institute was to solve the problem of state importance - to strengthen the health of school-age children, adolescents and youth, and to prevent non-communicable diseases. The article outlines the main directions of scientific research planned at the Institute for the coming years and which meet the modern requirements of society.
