Abstract

It has been established that in adolescent boys with hypoandrogenism (HA), a significant role in the mechanisms of stress response development belongs to the thyroid gland. In turn, disturbances in redox processes exacerbate the severity of hypothyroidism and form a state of oxidative stress, the main initiator of which is low activity glutathione peroxidase - the main enzyme of antioxidant defense.
