THYROID INSUFFICIENCY AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT ADOLESCENTS

Abstract

Interdependence between thyroid hormones deficiency and anthropometric parameters in the girls was less prominent that tock place due to gender differences in the regulation of growth processes. In adolescents with sexual development delay, irrespective of gender, in most cases there were diagnosed low height and body weight deficiency which were formed against the background of growing amount of thyroid insufficiency signs.
