Abstract

Studying the nature of physical development (PD) in 70 adolescents (48 boys and 22 girls) 12-17 years old, patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus, established that 60,0% of the surveyed had disharmonious RF due to high height and lack of weight body. It is proved that the frequency and structure of PD disorders depends on the compensation of carbohydrate metabolism and the age period in which the manifestation of diabetes occurred. It was established that the risk group for the formation of disharmonious PD is adolescents with insufficient compensation of carbohydrate metabolism and patients with the onset of the disease during childhood and in prepubertal disease.
