Abstract

The gender features of the emotional state of adolescents with type I diabetes mellitus at the stage of treatment in a hospital are determined in the article. According to the projective psychodiagnostic methods, it was found that most of the adolescents (59,3 %) had signs of emotional stress, more often it was manifested in girls. The signs of asthenia (48,1 %), signs of transient excitation (29,7 %) were detected regardless of gender. According to the methods of self-assessment of the psycho-emotional state, the indicators of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity did not exceed the average level. The boys faithfully more often assessed their well-being and mood during in hospital as very good, while the girls noticed their high activity.
